- Fouad Matta" was born in Deir Ezzor, Syria 1946

 

- He participated in many exhibitions held by the Ministry of Culture since 1967, and he also held an exhibition of watercolors in Germany with  “Anwar Al-Rahbi” and held exhibitions in Aleppo at “Al-Khanji” hall in 1991 and 1992, then He held many art exhibitions in several cities, including Homs, Al-Atassi Gallery, 1973, Lattakia, Imar Gallery, 1995, and participated in the first inaugural exhibition of Qatari artists at Al-Assad Gallery, Aleppo, 1995. He participated in an exhibition of watercolors with the artists "Ghassan Sabbagh", "Youssef Sabouni", "Acoub Jamkojian" in the hall of the "Shahba Al-Sham" hotel in 1996. He held an art exhibition in the "Al-Assad" gallery "Aleppo" in 2000. His works are distributed in many Arab countries and Western countries, and the Ministry of Culture acquired a number of his works in the mid-seventies. He has a number of works displayed at “Taha Al-Taha” Museum in the city of Raqqa.

Fouad Matta passed away in 2009, he left a clear artistic imprint with his expressionist works.
